Call For Proposals

AAST 31st Annual Meeting
Seattle, Washington • June 7-10, 2009
Call for Proposals

The American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) has been hosting the premier annual meeting for sleep technologists and allied healthcare professionals for over thirty years. The AAST anticipates that the 31st Annual Meeting held June 7-10, 2009, at the Sheraton Seattle in Seattle, Washington will continue in this tradition.

The AAST Program Committee invites you to become an integral part of the AAST 31st Annual Meeting by submitting a session proposal today. This is your opportunity to ensure that the program includes the latest educational content and developments that are important to the sleep technology profession. The Program Committee relies on your commitment and volunteer efforts to create a program that stimulates interest in the field - from the beginner to the seasoned technologists.

This meeting is only possible with the submission of high-quality session proposals from sleep technology professionals. Please refer to the Call for Proposals for instructions on how to submit your session proposal for the AAST 31st Annual Meeting.

What is a Call for Proposals?

A “Call” is an official announcement or solicitation that invites interested participants to submit proposals for various presentations. The AAST Program Committee is soliciting proposals for educational sessions to be included within the AAST 31st Annual Meeting.

The AAST Annual Meeting offers a variety of educational opportunities, including postgraduate courses, invited lecturers, workshops, symposia and discussion groups. This year, the AAST Program Committee is accepting proposals for workshops, symposia and discussion groups.

Take advantage of the opportunity to participate in the meeting, influence the educational curriculum that will be offered to attendees and address the latest challenges, practices, and trends within the profession. The Call for Proposals brochure contains detailed information and guidelines needed to submit a proposal. For additional information, please review the description of each session type and simply follow the instructions included within the brochure. A session proposal submission template is also provided for your convenience. Simply complete and return the template via e-mail to Amber Josi, Meeting Planner, at ajosi@aasmnet.org. If you have questions or require additional information, please contact Amber Josi at (708) 492-0796.

The deadline to submit session proposals is December 22, 2008.
