In this key role, the Sleep Lab Supervisor will lead and manage the department by overseeing departmental operations and coordinating clinical activities.  In addition, will recruit, hire, schedule, supervise, train and develop staff and provide assistance/support to management and the overall operation and patient care in the department.  

Duties include:

 

*Developing protocols and performing performance improvement activities to assess process and outcomes

*Performing patient care as necessary

*Educating patient to improve their quality of life and assist coworkers as needed

*Oversee clinical procedures performed in the department and assure appropriate protocols are followed

*Assist medical and management teams with continuous quality improvement

*Perform preventative maintenance, calibrate and evaluate performance of department equipment and make recommendations for new equipment

Job Requirements

 

We require a minimum of two years experience in a sleep lab setting and CPR certification. Supervisory experience preferred. Must also possess the following qualifications: 

 

*Completion of an accredited Polysomnographic Technologist or EEG training program and Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPGST) with 5 years Sleep lab experience
