The American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) provides sleep professionals with a variety of educational opportunities to enhance their understanding of polysomnography and to earn continuing education credits (CECs).


The AAST has been hosting the premier annual meeting for sleep technologists and other allied health care professionals for more than 30 years. This year, the AAST 34^th Annual Meeting will be held at the John B Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Mass., June 10 – 13, 2012. 


The AAST organizes outstanding educational courses including the annual Advances in Sleep Technology course and the new "OCST and the Future of Sleep Technology" course, which will be held Oct. 20-21, 2012. 


The AAST offers numerous online learning modules and other educational resources in the AAST Online Store, giving sleep technologists an affordable and convenient way to earn CECs. 


The AAST gives educational providers the opportunity to offer AAST CECs, which are accepted by both the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) and the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).  


The AAST CEC Education Calendar is a resource for members who are interested in locating educational programs that are offering AAST CECs.  


AAST members can retrieve and print an online educational transcript of the CECs that they have earned from the AAST and other educational providers that offer AAST CECs.
