RPSGT Practice Exams
The RPSGT credential represents the highest standard in the field of sleep technology.
To become a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), technologists must
meet a number of requirements including having the necessary clinical experience
criteria, BCLS certification or its equivalent, and passing a rigorous examination.

Are you prepared for the RPSGT exam? The AAST presents a series of online practice
exams to assess your knowledge of sleep technology and your readiness for the RPSGT
exam. Each practice exam has 25 questions developed based on the most recent exam
blueprint (March 2010). The practice exams are online and interactive and provide
you with immediate feedback.
CPSGT Practice Exams
How well are you prepared for the CPSGT exam? A starting technician needs to complete
three months of fulltime clinical experience in polysomnography and a designated
subset of the AASM A-STEP Self-Learning Modules before they can sit for the CPSGT
Exam offered by the BRPT and earn the Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT)
credential. The AAST presents practice exams to assess your knowledge of sleep technology
and your readiness for the CPSGT exam.
These online exams are developed based on the prerequisites for the exam to earn
the Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) credential. The exams are on-line
and interactive, providing you with immediate feedback and additional information.
Use the exam to test your own knowledge or as a training tool. There are 6 practice
exams with 25 questions in each.
