The American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) has developed a sample curriculum to assist the emerging certificate and associate degree programs in sleep technology in the development of their own sleep technology education programs.

The AAST Sample Curriculum was developed to provide educational institutions with an outline of educational courses necessary to develop a sound polysomnographic technology program leading to an Associate in Applied Science Degree. The AAST does not recommend or endorse specific areas of focus, length of the educational program or other information referenced in this curriculum.
