The Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is a 501--bed Level I regional trauma center. As Central Pennsylvania’s only academic medical center, and home to Penn State Children’s Hospital and Penn State College of Medicine, we are looked to as a resource for the most complex adult and pediatric cases. We are located in rural Hershey, PA with close proximity to New York City, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Baltimore, MD. We recently earned our ANCC Magnet Recognition. We have two (2) Polysomnographic Technologist positions available.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions plus scoring under the general supervision of the Medical Director (MD, PhD, DO). Responsible for serving as a preceptor and mentor to staff.
WORK SHIFT IS: 8:00PM – 8:00 AM
. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 months of experience working as a Sleep Technician
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
