In this role, you will perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, scoring and associated interventions under the general oversight of a clinical coordinator and/or clinical director. You will also lead and guide sleep technicians in daily departmental activities and testing procedures.  You will be responsible for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures regarding safety and infection control issues.

Our ideal candidate must have an Associate’s Degree in a field of Science, at least three (3) years of clinical laboratory sleep experience, BLS Certification and one of the following Certifications or Registrations:

o             Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

o             Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT)

o             Registered Sleep Technologies (RST)

o             Registered Respiratory Therapist- Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS)

o             Certified Respiratory Therapist - Sleep Disorders Specialist (CRT- SDS)

A Bachelor's Degree, Certification in Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS), NYS License in Respiratory Therapy, Leadership skills and pediatric experience are preferred.
