A2Zzz President’s Message: Start Looking Toward the Future

Be a Part of AAST in 2021

It’s safe to say this has been a year for the history books.

A global pandemic changed the way we live, the way we work and the way we learn. What I’ve appreciated most during these difficult times is how many of us have turned to one another for strength.

Whether it’s figuring out how to reopen our sleep centers amid COVID-19 or looking to use our downtime to better ourselves through education, AAST has made it a priority to help our members get through it all. Through 2020’s uncertainty, what I’ve learned is that being part of a group of likeminded individuals was invaluable.

That’s why I urge you to consider renewing your AAST membership, and encourage your peers to do so as well. Looking forward to 2021, an AAST membership offers access to a community of more than 2,700 fellow sleep professionals who can help you to navigate through the challenges within your career. AAST membership also offers up to 20 free continuing education credits and a constantly updated library of online videos and advanced learning modules.

Best of all, if you’re new to AAST, you are eligible for up to three months of free membership.

We’ve said it many times during the pandemic, and I believe this to be true: We’re in this together. AAST knows this year has been tough, which is why we’re determined to continue serving you and our future members through thick and thin. If you’re already with us, please remember to renew before Dec. 31, 2020. If you know of those who would benefit from joining us, send them our way.

Let’s make 2021 the best year yet.
