Meet our Fall Course speaker Laura Linley


Get to know Laura, Co-Founder/VP of Clinical Operations at Advanced Sleep Management, LLC

Laura has worked in healthcare since 1982 and specifically in sleep medicine since 1989.  She has worked in a clinical setting, as an educator of sleep technology and administrator of sleep centers.  Presently she works with Advanced Sleep Management as VP of Clinical Services. 

Laura currently serves as President of the American Academy of Sleep Technologists (AAST), was the recipient of the 2011 Elliott Weitzman, MD Service Award and speaks nationally on issues regarding sleep technology.

"Artifact Recognition and Troubleshooting"

Course Objectives

  • Review physiology, instrument and environment (P.I.E.) artifacts.

  • Discuss and demonstrate appropriate filter changes vs. re-referencing.

  • Recognize high and low frequency artifacts.

  • Discuss how to troubleshoot.
