Get to know Robert, MS, RPSGT, RST
Robert Pamenter, MS, RPSGT, RST has been in sleep medicine since 1983 beginning in the Milwaukee area after attending Stanford University’s technologist training summer school.
He began a consulting firm in 1986 and helped found and develop many sleep centers in Wisconsin, northern Illinois, and a smattering of other places around the country. He has been dedicated to the education of technologists, physicians and the public in sleep medicine and technology.
He served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Association of Polysomnograghic Technologists (APT - now AAST) from 1985 through 1991 and helped found the first iteration of the Midwest APT with Cameron Harris. He has lectured for hundreds of audiences ranging from kindergartners to physicians including a number of APT/AAST courses regionally and nationally. He worked with Laura Linley at the Midwest School of Sleep and Neuroscience.
He has owned and managed sleep centers as well as a DME company. Robert currently consults with a small group of physicians and dentists as well as does public education presentations. He also enjoys working with hospice volunteers, helping on his kids farm, and life in rural Wisconsin.
