Robert Turner, RST, RPSGT, RRT, a past AAST President and an experienced presenter, will join us in Louisville to give us some perspective on HIPAA requirements and how to protect confidentiality for our sleep center patients.  His presentation will focus on identifying risk factors in the sleep center related to the use and handling of patient information, including electronic data.  You can expect to learn about the HIPAA requirements for protection and appropriate use of electronic data as well as patient identification requirements during this presentation.
