What to Expect at the 38th AAST Annual Meeting: Best Practices for Filter Settings



Join us at the AAST 38th Annual Meeting to understand best practices for filter settings 

On Sunday June 12, Tim Fields, RRT, RPSGT,  will present on the proper use of filters for sleep technologists.

Mr. Fields is currently District Sales Manager AL/TN for Natus Medical, Inc. He has served as Education Chair for APT from 1987-1991 and started the first APT Board Review Courses in 1987-1990. Mr. Fields is the 1990 AAST Service Award winner. He served as an AAST appointed CoA PSG representative board member, Secretary and Vice President. Mr. Fields has been teaching PSG technology board review since 1986.

Here is what Tim will present during Sunday's general track session on June 12 from 2pm - 3pm



  1. Discuss different samples of filter settings.
  2. Describe how filters are properly used and can skew data.
  3. Define implementation of filter changes to improve studies.
