On Tuesday, June 14, Joel Porquez, RST, RPSGT, CCSH, alongside Laree Fordyce, RPSGT, RST, CCRP and Rakesh Bhatlacharjee, MD will review pediatric sleep center programs recommendations for pediatric sleep services.

Mr. Porquez has worked in the field of sleep medicine for over 10 years.  He has lectured in pediatric courses & scoring classes, physician board reviews, technician board reviews, technician’s A-STEP programs and dental residency programs.

Mr. Porquez is a published author, guest lecturer at Georgia State University, Editorial Advisory Board Member for Sleep Review, board member for the AAST, and currently works as Lab Supervisor for University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.

Here is what Joel will present during Tuesday's general session on June 14 from 2:30pm - 4:15pm

Pediatrics 101 and Scoring

Objectives:

  1. Review sleep center program highlights for pediatric sleep services.
  2. Discuss the AMA clinical guidelines for ordering pediatric sleep services.
  3. Discuss how to educate referring offices on how to order pediatric sleep services.
