Each year the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) recognizes individual members for their professional excellence, service and commitment to the Association and to the sleep technology profession.

Recognizing Award Recipients
Award recipients will be invited to join the AAST at the 39th Annual Meeting in Boston, MA from June 4-6, 2017 where they will be recognized during a special Awards Ceremony. Recognized individuals will receive:
- An award specific plaque noting the accomplishments of the individual,
- Complimentary general meeting registration to the 39th AAST Annual Meeting, and
- Reimbursement for travel to and from the 39th Annual Meeting, hotel accommodations and meals (not to exceed three days and in accordance with the AAST Travel Reimbursement Guidelines).
AAST members are encouraged to recognize other members' contributions and achievements by completing the 2017 Award Nomination Form, which includes a brief narrative endorsing their nomination.
Award Nomination Deadline
All award nominations are due by Friday, March 17, 2017.
Before proceeding with the electronic award nomination form, please know that you will NOT be able to save the application and return to it later. Please make sure you have the following information before beginning the form:
-AAST Member Number for individual you are nominating (Award Nominees for all awards EXCEPT the New Technologists Award MUST be a member of the AAST).
-Nominations for literary awards must include a copy of the respective document. If you would like to send that separately, please e-mail it to: email@example.com.
-Nominations for the AAST New Technologist Award require the nominee to submit an essay (minimum of 500 words) describing how achieving their RST or RPSGT credential (within the past year) has affected the technologist's career aspirations, outlook on life, and how the technologist foresees giving back to the community/sleep industry.
