Introducing the AAST Fellow Program

Posted by AAST Editor on Sep 13, 2018 1:19:40 PM

The AAST Fellow Program is a means of recognizing those who have made significant and sustained contributions to the field of Sleep Technology. AAST will induct its first class of 2017 Fellows at the Annual Meeting in Indianapolis at the end of this month.

Applications for this prestigious honor will open in Fall of 2018 and the class of 2018 inductees will be announced in early 2019, followed by a formal induction at the 2019 Annual Meeting.

Upon review of all completed submissions, this Fellow title and credential will be offered to individuals who are highly regarded in the sleep technology field and who possess attributes that align with the AAST strategic goals. The purpose of such Fellow positions is to establish a recognized partnership between the AAST and the individual that is effective, complementary and builds on our areas of strength. This type of Fellow appointment will be used as a platform to promote the profession and the AAST in an innovative manner without the establishment of a formal employment arrangement.

Since the distinction of AAST Honorary Fellow is not intended as a memorial award, a nomination submitted posthumously shall not be considered by the selection committee unless the nominee is living at the time of the submission deadline date.

We hope you will join us in Indianapolis to induct and congratulate our first class of AAST Fellows:
