Statutory Language: TITLE 33 - PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS CHAPTER 43 - RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONERS Respiratory Care Practice Act contains exemption language 33-43-117. Exceptions. (d) An individual who, by passing an examination which includes content in one (1) or more of the functions included in this act, offered by a testing body certified by the national commission for health certifying agencies or its equivalent, shall not be prohibited from performing procedures for which they were tested.
