The AAST CEC Program ensures that each educational program meets the following criteria:

Planned and conducted by qualified individuals

Addresses an identified need within the sleep technology profession

Program content and instructional methods are based on the specific learning objectives

An evaluation method is used to determine if the learning objectives were attained

Awards AAST CECs that accurately reflect the appropriate instructional time

Contains specific written learning objectives

RST & RPSGT Recertification

For many, recertification is right around the corner. Make sure that you know what is required to maintain your credential and what Continuing Education Credits (CECs) are accepted. To help members with this, AAST has provided links to the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) recertification requirements as well as the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) requirements.
