Meet our speaker David Brown, MD

Get to know David Brown, MD, Medical Director of St. Francis Sleep Disorders Center.

David Brown, MD, attended medical school at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences before becoming boarded in Sleep Medicine in 1989. Dr. Brown currently serves as the Medical Director of the St. Francis Sleep Disorders Center in Federal Way, Washington. He is experienced in all aspects of sleep medicine, specializes in neuroimaging and is certified by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialities in neuroimaging.

Course Objectives

1. Survey types and pathophysiology of neuromuscular disorders.

2. Discuss the peripheral effects of neuromuscular disorders on breathing and sleep.

3. Review central effects of neuromuscular disorders on breathing and sleep.
