2. Documentation of the Sleep Disorders Specialist credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC-SDS); or
3. A professional certification or credential approved by the board from an organization or entity which is a member of the National Organization for Competency Assurance.
Applicants must also provide documentation of current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support with a hands-on practice training evaluation.
*Please note that the sleep technologist must have passed an examination credentialed by the National Organization for Competency Assurance. We are in the process of getting the RST exam accredited; however, we cannot guarantee accreditation of the exam by the end of 2015.
