I am excited to have the opportunity to connect with all of you as I begin my tenure as your AAST President, and want you to know that it is a privilege to serve you in this role. I’d like to start by thanking our membership. We are a unique and dedicated community. Together, I know we will continue to lead this profession and am so excited for what comes next. In future President’s messages, I will be sharing the exciting work our AAST Board and Committees are working on to assure we are bringing value to you as AAST members. I would love to hear from you, if you have a question, idea, or suggestion. I look forward to working beside you over the next two years!
Thank You for Attending the 2019 Annual Meeting
As the dust settles from this year’s conference, I want to take the time to thank you, our attendees, for your support in attending our 2019 Annual Meeting. Secondly, I want to extend my appreciation to the dedicated AAST volunteers on this year’s program committee, who planned an education-packed, thought-provoking conference! Leading the Evolution in Sleep was a great success due to the engaged attendees, highly knowledgeable speakers, and our generous sponsors.
CCSH Designated Education Program
We continue to collaborate with our credentialing organization, the BRPT, to support our members by developing educational tools for technologists seeking the RPSGT credential as well as those seasoned technologists seeking advanced learning and/or the CCSH credential. In case you missed the in-person workshop, the AAST will be releasing an online version of the CCSH Designated Education Program, which will be available through the AAST Learning Center. If you are an RPSGT credential holder who has renewed your credential at least once, check back this winter to enroll in this program and begin your journey toward the CCSH credential.
