In Memory of Elliot D. Weitzman, MD
This award was established in 1984 to honor Dr. Weitzman, who provided a tremendous amount of support and encouragement to the development of the AAST as the leading advocate for the sleep technology field.
This award honors and recognizes an AAST member who has made significant contributions to the growth and development of the sleep technology profession.

- A history of mentorship and guidance of those new to the field of sleep technology;
